If the manufacturing time of the Time Keepper is greater than 2 years, what happens is that the internal chip Nickel Cadmium batteries have not been charged in a long time and it may take time to recover. Leave the equipment on and wait the necessary time for them to retain charge and to retain the configuration information. I have waited up to a week for the problem to be resolved. The best thing is to have fresh chips and so when they are changed immediately the problem is corrected

If, like any rechargeable battery, if it does not charge and discharge cycles, the memory effect is generated and they lose storage capacity. As they are for a long time without doing these cycles, they are downloaded and it has to take a while to regain their functionality. If the manufacturing date is far from the current time, they may not even be recovered. I have waited up to a week, then I better replace it with another

From what I remember. You must discharge the patient after changing out the SRAM battery and then do a reboot.

You change the battery, set the language, time and date. You turn it off and confirm that it retains the data. From there you can reconfigure all the equipment. If you turn it off and retain the configuration, it is already there and you can register it, check the physiological parameters with the patient simulator.

What we do in the company is to place a chip and leave the equipment on, after a few hours we set the correct time and date and leave a few more minutes and turn it off. We turn it on after about 5 minutes and if it retains the time and date, we proceed to configure the language. network frequency, etc. It is left for a few minutes and it is paid, you wait 5 minutes and turn it on again. If you retain the chosen data the monitor is ready
