I had to replace the steel belt between the Subscan assembly and the counter balance weight. The new belt is slipping and it cannot complete the initialization routine, therefore I get error 04061.
I have greased the bearings on the Subscan unit and verified that it moves smoothly on the rails by hand. I have cleaned the belt with alcohol to remove any dirt, oil, or grease and it helped but the belt still slips sometimes, especially after the unit is first turned on. I cannot find any way to increase tension on the belt, but it does not seem loose. What could be causing the slipping?
Thanks!
