Developed by DATEX / PB prior to GE's takeover, this is a mid 1990's era anestetic agent, ventilation and oxygen monitor. The measurement range is suitable for both pediatric and adult monitoring. There are four Capnomac Ultima modes which identify and measure five anesthetic agents. This instrument monitors spirometry allowing the user to monitor volume and flow pressure (separately) to help assess ventilatory status. The O2 sensor is maintenance free. The 8 inch CRT type display is clear and controlled by a soft touch sealed keypad that is moderately intuitive. This FDA approved monitor is certified for use in most of the world.
