Waukesha, WI, November 10, 2005 - GE Healthcare introduced today a new and unique event for customers during the 91st annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) in Chicago. GE's Advanced Applications Learning Center at RSNA will provide clinicians with how-to learning sessions to give GE customers a sample of innovative clinical application training to enhance their knowledge. The training sessions focus on applications in three important clinical areas: cardiovascular disease, oncology and neurology.

"The Learning Center provides a great opportunity for our clinical partners to exchange ideas, review clinical applications and share educational experiences at RSNA," said Sean Burke, chief marketing officer of GE Healthcare's Diagnostic Imaging and Services businesses. "GE is committed to helping customers succeed by providing breakthrough technologies, as well as the tools and training that will ensure diagnostic confidence and enhanced workflow."

The Learning Center echoes this year's RSNA theme stressing "Connecting for Lifelong Learning" and will feature a series of 30- to 45-minute learning sessions throughout the week during RSNA exhibit hours. Specifically, the sessions will offer attendees from many radiology specialties and disciplines more than a dozen different sessions on a variety of diagnostic imaging modalities: magnetic resonance (MR), computed tomography (CT), functional imaging (FI) and X-ray.

"Like RSNA, GE is committed to helping the diagnostic/therapeutic community in their quest of lifelong learning," said Burke. "At GE's RSNA booth, our clinical application experts will help customers and their clinical teams utilize these evolving practical applications for a greater good."

No advanced registration is required, however, seating is limited.
