626 Holdings has acquired Medical Imaging Solutions.
626 Holdings has acquired third-party HTM provider Medical Imaging Solutions.

Based in Georgia, MIS offers comprehensive asset management solutions to hospitals and medical imaging practices, along with a capital equipment refurbishment program for scanners, an extensive multivendor parts inventory, interim mobile solutions, and a medical electronic repair lab. It also offers predictive analytics in a secure cloud-based platform, along with automated reporting and integration solutions.

626 is in Florida and services all types of scanners developed by various manufacturers for outpatient imaging centers, hospitals and other independent service organizations. It is also ISO 13485:2016 certified.

An affiliate of private investment firm Peak Rock Capital recently acquired 626 and will help it build its sales and technology initiatives and make strategic acquisitions.

MIS is one of these deals, said 626 President Michael Fischer, in a statement. “The combined companies will have over 120 field service engineers, seven distribution centers, 25,000 parts, and fleet performance improving technology, all positioned to deliver improved uptime at a value to an enlarged footprint.”

626 also acquired California Radiographics back in December, which expanded its presence out west. CRI services X-ray equipment from major manufacturers for hospitals, medical imaging clinics, chiropractors, orthopedists and veterinarians in most of California.

It also owns Walsh Imaging, parts supplier PhiGEM, and Innovatus Imaging’s former CR and DR business.

626 did not respond to HCB News for comment.
