WAUKESHA, WI, March 27, 2008 - GE Healthcare will host a two-day collaborative workshop April 22-23 in an effort to help educate hospital administrators nationwide on the benefits of magnetic resonance (MR) imaging.

During the seminar, GE Healthcare's president and CEO, Joe Hogan, and leaders from various hospitals and medical centers around the country will join to discuss the clinical benefits of MR technology, industry trends and advanced applications that can help physicians diagnose a wide range of diseases within a community hospital.

"As leaders in the MR industry, GE Healthcare is committed to delivering the best technology and services to our customers worldwide," said Hogan. "The primary objective of this event is to further the dialogue between existing users of MR technology and those interested in implementing the technology in their facilities. It will be a great way for hospital administrators to network with colleagues sharing similar needs for technology and discuss the best ways to provide quality patient care."
