Mass General Brigham names president of Massachusetts General Hospital

Brown received his undergraduate degree at Princeton, his medical degree at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and then completed his residency training at MGH. He is a diplomate of both the American Board of Emergency Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American Academy of Emergency Medicine.

Brown succeeds Peter Slavin, MD, who has served as President since 2003.
