Yesterday the U.S. Federal Trade Commissioners unanimously voted to
increase efforts to address illegal right to repair restrictions. The FTC is the chief independent U.S. competition agency.
IAMERS General Counsel Robert Kerwin commented “we much look forward to the FTC’s special focus on repair restrictions, which remain all too prevalent in industries such as diagnostic imaging equipment. Hospitals should have choices beyond the manufacturers.”
