My interviews with Dr. Art Papier and Kwame Ulmer

by Philip F. Jacobus, CEO | April 07, 2021
Dr. Art Papier and Kwame Ulmer
Five Minutes in Healthcare is where I discuss current events with some of the industry's most influential leaders, as well as innovative thinkers who are working to meet the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic.

Over the last week I have had the pleasure of speaking to Dr. Art Papier and Kwame Ulmer.

In the following installment, I check in with Dr. Art Papier, founder and CEO of VisualDx, to talk about telehealth, and specifically the value of images in telehealth as a tool for meaningful communication with the patient.

In our previous interview, Dr. Papier and I discussed the challenges of bias in medical diagnoses.

In this installment, I check in with Kwame Ulmer, cofounder and executive director of MedTech Color, a non-profit that helps people of color establish businesses in health technology. We talk about the three different programs that MedTech Color offers to support people of color succeed in the industry, and how his own background has helped qualify him for this kind of work.

I encourage you to learn more on the MedTech Color website.

We hope you enjoy the videos. Please tell us what you think, and let us know who you would like to see interviewed next!
