Today, I learned the sad news that Alan Ehrlich, Vice President of Health Care Exports passed as a result of an accident in Mexico.
If you knew Alan, you knew he was a fun loving and easy going fellow and an excellent business person who had a reputation for keeping his word and always taking the high road in a business transaction.
Alan learned the business from his father, Peter Ehrlich who is arguably our industry's senior statesman.
Alan spoke Spanish and as a result, he was tasked with establishing an office for Health Care Exports in Mexico. He did a tremendous business in Mexico and was well respected there.
I am closer in age to Peter, but Alan always impressed me from the very first day I met him as being a gentleman and a first class business person.
Alan left behind his wife and children, living in Mexico.
