Trice Imaging enters new regions and extends GE ultrasound partnership

Trice Imaging and GE Healthcare are expanding their partnership to include GE's latest high-end ultrasound system, LOGIQ E10.
The arrangement will move image management to the cloud, enabling remote collaboration among physicians, secure archiving and EHR integration.
"As hospitals expand their geographies, clinicians are increasingly demanding seamless access to medical imaging," Brian McEathron, general manager, General Imaging Ultrasound at GE Healthcare, told HCB News. "We are committed to providing simple solutions that are clinically intuitive and enable effective communication. The Tricefy solution meets a growing need for clinicians to collaborate with remote colleagues."
The Tricefy system, which has clinical users in 106 countries across six continents, has been built into GE Healthcare’s OB/GYN ultrasound systems since 2016 and integrates seamlessly with the systems.
According to Trice founder and CEO, Asa Nordgren, the service could be applicable for any type of medical imaging device.
"It's agnostic to brand and modality both on the imaging side and the reviewing side," she said. "Our use cases are contributing to any type of care, they are very basic and simple when you think of it. It's sharing medical images and reports with patients to empower them to have access and control their data, while enabling collaboration among physicians through one-click image, video and report sharing anywhere, anytime."
Soon, Nordgren plans to announce Trice's expansion into countries where it hasn't yet been utilized.
"Our mission is to provide quality of care for people regardless of who and where they are. This spring we are taking that to the next level," she said.
