Siemens Healthcare is pleased to announce its financial contribution to Leading Radiology into the Future, a campaign to fund the Radiology Leadership Institute (RLI). The five-year pledge is part of Siemens' ongoing efforts to help shape the future of radiology and educate those in the industry who will continue to take the profession to new heights.

"Siemens is committed to strengthening the radiology industry and supporting the radiology profession," said Gregory Sorensen, MD, president and CEO, Siemens Healthcare North America. "Radiology professionals play a critical role in patient care, and we are proud to positively impact the future of U.S. healthcare by supporting the RLI and innovation in the field."

The American College of Radiology (ACR) Foundation created the RLI to equip radiology professionals with leadership skills to advance their careers, strengthen the industry, and address the needs of radiology professionals across every career level and subspecialty. The RLI wants to ensure future radiology leaders are prepared to articulate and reinforce the value of diagnostic imaging and keep radiology at the forefront of the healthcare agenda.

The Siemens donation will be used to support program and technology development as well as cultivate new leaders and fund future program enhancements.
