Dr. Raymond Gruby, M.D., F.A.C.S. and Chief Medical Officer at Intelligent InSites, has been invited to present a session on "Real-Time Location Systems Impact on Medicine" at the South Dakota and North Dakota Chapters of the American College of Surgeons 2012 Annual Meeting, held April 13-14, 2012, at the Watertown Event Center in Watertown, South Dakota.

Session participants will learn how RFID and real-time location systems (RTLS) solutions improve medical staff efficiency, patient safety and satisfaction, and operational performance.

According to Dr. Gruby,"More and more hospitals and surgery centers utilize RTLS technology to gain a real-time view of what is happening in their facilities. From tracking and managing the location and history of surgical instruments, to knowing the location of patients in real time, to keeping patient families informed about the current status of their loved one - RTLS provides the means to achieve maximum performance and top levels of patient and staff satisfaction."

RTLS solutions, in addition to real-time locating and condition-sensing capabilities, can also provide enterprise-wide business intelligence, helping healthcare organizations optimize purchasing and rental decisions, improve patient flow and capacity management, and manage lean process improvement initiatives.

Healthcare professionals can learn more about RTLS solutions by visiting Intelligent InSites' booth during the event.
