San Francisco's Board of Supervisors voted in favor of the cell phone radiation ordinance Tuesday.

The ordinance, which will now go to Mayor Gavin Newsom's desk for approval, will require the city's retailers to post how much radiation is emitted by cell phones they sell.

The ordinance cites research from the European Union (EU) and Israel that has "recognized the potential harm of long-term exposure to radiation emitted from cell phones."
