Good Photos of Your Equipment Mean Faster Sales

by Robert Garment, Executive Editor | February 01, 2006
A picture's worth a thousand words - and good, clear, informative photos of equipment you're auctioning or selling on DOTmed say "buy me" better than anything else.

Always take pictures of your equipment using a flash - they look best because the color balance is better. Load them onto your computer and remember the name of the photo file and the directory where it's saved - you'll need that info when you upload it to DOTmed.

When you create a new listing, there's an option to add a photo. Click on "browse," find the file, click "open" and you're done. Then just hit "post listing" and your photo will be automatically be added to your listing.

If you're auctioning, you can submit multiple photos, which is recommended.

If your listings are fully upgraded, you can submit three photos with each listing.

When you check out your listings on DOTmed, you'll see how your listing with a photo really stands out from the others - and guess what, so will other DOTmed users. So that photo will help you sell your equipment faster.
