Business First named C&G Technologies, Inc. 2009 Small Business of the Year at a dinner held at the Kentucky International Convention Center recently.

The Eagle Award of Excellence for the Small Company of the Year (revenues less than $20 million) went to the DOTmed 100 company.

C&G Technologies, Inc. is a family-owned business founded in 1990 that has grown to 50 employees, including field service engineers, board repair technicians, parts specialists, painters, cosmetic prep specialists, and sales staff.

"C&G prides itself on the quality of its refurbishing process, as well as the ability and professionalism of its field service engineers," said Greg Kramer, co-owner of the company with his wife Joy. "The same service engineers that are dispatched around the country to work on client equipment work on the in-house refurbishment of the machines," Kramer said. "Unlike others in the industry, C&G's service professionals are constantly working on machines honing and increasing their skills on a daily basis. As a result, in most cases, our engineers have already seen any problem in-house, giving them the invaluable experience necessary to work on your system."

C&G operates from a warehouse facility in Jeffersonville, Indiana including 20 staging bays for the refurbishing and testing of machines and parts, a fully operational paint booth, and a dedicated board repair department. Additionally, C&G has recently completed an expansion of its Jeffersonville facility doubling the total area to over 46,000 square foot dedicated to quality CT refurbishment, service and parts.
