Meeting next
week in Orlando
The 26th Annual Scientific Meeting of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS) will be held at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, Florida, January 28-31, 2010. About 500 attendees are expected.

"Obviously the economy is the main thing on peoples' minds, so the primary relationship between doctor and patient is even more important," said Dr. Patrick McMenamin, AACS President. "Mainstream America wants service and they want results, and they seem to have more realistic expectations," he told DOTmed News. "But they also realize that cosmetic surgery can make a difference in their life. The meeting is an educational forum that covers everything from the basics of minimally invasive procedures to the most advanced technologies. It's a fantastic meeting at a fantastic venue."

"As in the past, this meeting will surely provide material that will be exciting and new. It's an important time to catch up, move ahead, resume old acquaintances and make new ones," indicated program chairs Mark Berman, MD, H. George Brennan, MD, and Faisal Quereshy, MD, DDS.

Attractions include presentations on the latest devices, panel sessions, networking opportunities, CME programs, and social events.
