Hope Stouter has joined Medical Device Depot, Inc. as operations manager. The Ellicott City, Maryland-based company specializes in some of the most widely used equipment at doctors' offices including EKG machines, holter monitors, and spirometers.

Stouter, an industry veteran with solid experience with in the medical equipment industry, manages several areas of the company, including marketing, social media, website maintenance, large-order shipping arrangements, and customer service.

"More doctors are buying online instead of from local reps and they're starting to use social media so we are also developing that avenue to reach customers," Stouter said.

Medical Device Depot, co-owned by DOTmed Certified John Gladstein, sells new EKG monitors and holters from leading OEMs such as Welch Allyn, Cardiac Science Corporation (Burdick), Midmark, Swiss manufacturer Schiller; and spirometers including basic and PC-based units from MIR and Micro Direct.

"This is basic equipment that every doctor needs in their practice; that is our bread and butter," Stouter said.

The company specializes in cardiopulmonary devices for physicians, hospitals, and government agencies.
