Pacific Medical, LLC, the Orange County California-based biomedical support company has moved and increased capacity to keep up with growth. The patient monitoring specialists now offer even more biomedical repair services.

Pacific Medical obtained its new office and warehouse space in San Juan Capistrano, California in September 2009. After extensive renovation and restoration, the new facility is now fully equipped to offer a variety of biomedical equipment repairs.

"We offer depot repair, support and even refurbished and new equipment," said Operations Manager Damon Kelly. "A lot of [in-house] biomeds are well trained they but can't work on every piece of equipment, so we support what they do whether it's technology, knowledge, or because they don't have the time to do it themselves."
The company has hired more technicians for a total of seven in its new shop.

"The nice thing is that our technicians are factory trained. They come with the knowledge but you get one-on-one customer service, fast turn around time, and quality at an excellent price point," Kelly told DOTmed News.

Rather than invest in the costly infrastructure and the necessary operations staff themselves, many hospitals, doctors' offices, biomed technicians, and other departments such as Labor & Delivery, Clinical Engineering, ER, ICU, Respiratory, and GI Labs take advantage of Pacific Medical's repair services. The company's newly updated and spacious facility will help them meet the needs of this growing customer base.

In addition to telemetry the company does other medical equipment repairs as well, such as module repairs, fetal transducers, pulse oximeters, cast cutters, infusion pumps, and other technologies.
