This is a Canadian designed and built (2019) powered high low cart meant for use with pre-term babies requiring significant intervention immediately after birth. It was originally designed and equipped with a ceramic infant platform, a scale, warm gel mattress, oxygen and air tanks, blender, T-piece resuscitator, pulse oximeter (PO) and electrical suction device. All of the accessorial devices have been removed. The ceramic platform that remains is meant to provide Class BF isolation and retain warmth. It can be removed and replaced easily with a device or other patient care platform. The cart structure is made of high grade steel and contains a battery power module, battery charger, power invertor and medical grade lift actuators (on each side). The castors have rubber treads, high grade bearing, brakes and swivel 360 degrees. The lifting range is from 30 to 50 inches. The cart's footprint is 44 x 27 inches and its weight about 150 pounds as it sits. The lifting mechanism and remote and power inputs and outputs appear to work as they should.
Joro Manufacturing is a company located in Alberta, Canada that specializes in producing intuitional grade high low platforms. This item is not on there current product list, so it may have ben a custom built prototype. I have seen not other carts in my Google searches that resemble it or have the dedicated application I did uncover in a discussion paper Thomas Sumesh and associates out of the University of Calgary in 2016. The last pic in the series in this ad is of the cart they envisioned.
US buyers will not pay any taxes or tariffs, border related fees or even handling charges. What is paid on check out is all that will be paid. The $400 cost of shipping includes all US and Canadian fees, taxes and handling charges by the seller and carrier.
The buyer will pay nothing extra if shipped to a commercial location. Shipment is .conditional on the delivery address having access to a loading dock or forklift for offloading the table. If this is not available the buyer may pick the lift up at a regional freight depot or pay an additional $80-$130 power tailgate offloading fees charged by the freight companies for curbside delivery.
Canadian buyers will be required to pay Federal GST tax at 5%. No provincial taxes or handling charges will be applied. Buyers in Canada should request an invoice in Canadian funds rather than use the Buy Now option. Shipping may be somewhat cheaper for shipments within Canada.
