The MedXHOME System has been developed to offer a home use option for patients while maintaining careful monitoring and treatment usage and outcomes.
This lightweight and user-friendly system uses hands-free superluminous diode (SLD) technology to administer phototherapy treatments in the comfort of the patient’s home. Protocols are programmed by the clinician. A maximum of five different treatments can be programmed into the System at one time. The number of days for use is set by the clinician to ensure the system and the patient return to the clinic. The System set-up is quick and easy and makes preparing for treatments simple.
MedXHOME is a supplement to the MedX Phototherapy Products. It can be used as an additional revenue stream with the return exceeding the original investment within the first month of renting the System to patients. The System comes in a practical carrying case with supporting educational documentation for both clinician and patient. FDA cleared (K050022 – May 2005).
