This kit was in use by a rural medical clinic which provided local alcohol screening services to industry and civil organizations. The clinic closed in 2023 due to staffing issues and the analyzer was reportedly fully functional until the business closed. It appears the kit was last used in 2022 and the factory annual calibration certificate expired in 2022 (see copy in pics). The Lifeloc annual factory calibration and inspection is overdue. I will warrant that this analyzer will complete the Lifeloc calibration with only routine service charges of $125 to $150. The buyer has the option to have this kit sent directly from here to the Lifeloc facility in Colorado for servicing with the direction it will be forwarded on to the buyer's location after it has been calibrated.
The Phoenix breath alcohol analyzer is US made and features:

* Rubber non-slip grip and drop protectors included on both the analyzer and printer.
If picked up locally we will include a Lifeloc calibration gas cylinder such as is seen the pictures. Prohibitions on shipping pressurized cylinders make it difficult at best to ship this with the test kit. It can be done, but the expense will likely be greater than the replacement cylinder purchased directly from the manufacturer.
5 sealed rolls of PermAffix Labels is included with this kit. Also included are the manuals and accessories seen in the kit pics. Consumables for these kits are available from the manufacturer.
As far as can be determined from the information on the manufacturer's site, there is little functional difference beyond the printer and the interface with it between the Phoenix 6.0 and the Phoenix 6.0BT. Lifeloc has issued an end of life support notice for the 6.0 model due to the SATA MB200 printer's no longer being in production (they are available commonly on the aftermarket) and concerns about the testing cell's durability. Lifeloc will provide a trade in credit should an own wish to move up to a 6.0BT instrument.
If you are comparing the Lifeloc 6.0BT Phoenix analyzer and and the older 6.0 Phoenix model, it is recommended you run a comparison on the Lifeloc site. From what I can see there is very little difference in the capacities of these units, however most of the earlier models use an infrared interface with their printer and an earlier version of the sensor cell. While both models may do the same job, it may be difficult to receive support from Lifeloc on some earlier models.
